Job Description Summary

Under the supervision of the Detention Corporal, the employee in this position is responsible for the confinement, supervision and well being of suspects and convicted criminals until they are released from Ford County custody.

~You must be 18 years of age ~You must be a US Citizen or non-US Citizen who must be LEGALLY able to perform work in or for the United States. ~ You must have no felony conviction(s) or high misdemeanor conviction(s). ~ If you have been in the military, your discharge must have been under honorable conditions. ~ You must have a high school diploma or equivalence. ~ You must have a valid Kansas Drivers License. 

As a condition for employment for certain positions, you may be required to pass the following: ~Physical agility test ~ Background Investigation ~ Psychological Examination ~Lie Detection Examination ~ Drug screen ~ Medical Examination
