Football is my favorite sport and what fan wouldn't love a quilt to keep warm at the big games. This quilt is so quick to put together. It could really be completely finished in one day.

The best part is that you can personalize it with your favorite team logo on the front. I even used team fabric for the back. GO CHIEFS!!

This is an 11-page pattern, but don't worry, it's mostly pictures and diagrams. It is very simple to make but will bring big smiles to your football fan.

If you can sandwich a quilt top, batting, and backing you can make this quilt. Basic quilting skills are needed. Applique skills are needed if you want to add your favorite team logo to the front.

Besides this pattern and a sewing machine the other materials you will need are:

Thread and needles
3 yards of brown fabric
1/2 yard of white fabric
Optional: a fussy cut logo from your favorite team fabric and double-sided fuse
3 yards of backing fabric (Use your favorite team)
46” x 75” batting
1/2 yard of binding fabric *based on using 2 ½” binding strips
