Rosey is a flashy 4-year-old Registered Tabiano Paint mare that will certainly catch the judges' eye, especially with her good conformation. She is an Own Daughter of Gentlemen Send Roses. Her mother was a black breeding stock (never shown). Rosey's dam's full bother - IM Distinctlydixon who has over 1718 lifetime Performance Points including 2 World Championships in heeling; 11 Register of Merits; and 6 Superiors. Rosey has 60 days of training under saddle, both in an arena and out in the pasture. She has not been shown but is ready for someone to take her to that level. This is an intelligent mare that wants to please (but needs a leader that can guide her around properly). This 14.3hh, solidly build mare is very soft in the face and responsive to leg cues. Rosey has a smooth jog and flowy extended trot. She would have significant potential for ranch riding. I rode consistently (2-3 times a week), she is the type of horse that does not need to be lunged prior to riding, yet can be lunged all day if you're at a show or just want to work on groundwork. While Rosey is very well mannered and easy to ride, she is not for inexperienced horsemen as she may spook at some things if you don't redirect her mind back to you. She stands tied well but on occasion, she will suck back if startled. Rosey is a dream to work with but is a one-owner type horse as she needs to be able to trust her rider. Rosey is ready to further her training in your program.
