The City of Dodge City is accepting applications for a Full-Time Maintenance Worker II Driver in the Public Works Dept./CREW. Position performs manual labor in recycling, building and yard maintenance, picking up litter, leading community service clients and other duties as assigned at the CREW Recycling Center.
The starting salary is $14.62 per hour. The salary range for this position is $14.62 - $20.47 per hour, DOQ, with full-time benefit package, including health/dental insurance, KPERS retirement, vacation, sick leave and holidays. Position works a minimum of 40 hours per week, non-exempt.
This job requires heavy physical work including lifting and manipulating up to 75 lbs and performing these duties in all types of weather. A valid Kansas driver’s license is required with a good driving record and must obtain a Class B CDL with air-brake endorsement within 6 months of hire for all Public Works positions. Position subject to random drug/alcohol testing after CDL is acquired.
